Spring Trends for the Home | Giveaway $150 Target or West Elm Gift Card

This spring, I'm loving light interiors with pops of color and pattern! I recently purchased these Threshold Kilim Poufs from Target while they were on sale. You all know that I love a good sale! :) Originally $69, they were marked down to $48. Prior to checking out, I always do a quick search for coupon codes, most of the time I'll find one that will save at least $5-$10. I love having a bench at the end of the bed to throw extra pillows or a blanket. Annabelle also likes sleeping here too .. sometimes, when she does, my legs thank me - she's a bed hog! They are great since they are so versatile - perfect for extra seating or a lift up to reach something high - they are also light, so they move easily from room to room.

I love the texture!

Prior to purchasing the poufs, I got the perfect start with Crane and Canopy's Linden Coral Duvet - I love the crispness of the white and the pop of coral. I also added a coral and blue ikat pillow from TJ Maxx. The polka dot mint euro shams were made from a scarf found at World Market (last year).

and nothing says spring like tulips! It's finally starting to get sunny and warm(ish)! I love how bright and fresh my bedroom feels :)

Humpday Giveaway: Artisan Jewelry from Taylor's Eclectic

Today I have a very special giveaway from my good friend Taylor, from Taylor's Eclectic!

I adore Taylor's work because it is:

I asked Taylor to talk a little about her process and technique, here is what she had to say:

"I spent many months developing my paper sculpting process. It is not paper mache. It is not paper stretching. It is not decoupage. What is it? It's my own specialized process. It's my own specialized sealants. It's a piece of jewelry with an obsessive attention to detail and hours of hand sculpting. Working in intricate detail has a strangely calming effect on me."

Even though each piece contains paper, they are all completely waterproof, due to Taylor's sealant process.  

Pretty neat, huh?

So in honor of Valentine's Day, We are giving away one of my favorite items from her shop, a pair of her heart studs
